Gérald Darmanin VS. Muslim Brotherhood: no room for error!

Gérald Darmanin VS. Muslim Brotherhood: no room for error!

Have our leaders been so naive over the last 30 years as to take Islamists for fervent republicans, or have they simply played a dangerous game of deadly electoralism, believing they were seducing France’s Muslims by agreeing to respond to the communitarian demands of thugs sporting trimmed beards and ties?
Yet how many journalists, researchers and politicians have warned, sometimes at the risk of their lives, of the threat posed by Islamism, and more specifically by the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe? How many martyrs of the Republic, from the Charlie Hebdo attack to the attack on Samuel Patty, did it take to understand the civilisational danger posed by these madmen of Allah?

Pakistan’s counter-terrorism strategy: weakness and ambiguity

Pakistan’s counter-terrorism strategy: weakness and ambiguity

Pakistan has recently been rocked by a number of large-scale terrorist attacks. The Majeed Brigade of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is responsible for two attacks in Balochistan. The first was aimed at the Turbat naval air base, which would deploy Chinese drones, and the second at the port authority complex in the port of Gwadar, which would be operated and expanded by the Chinese. The third attack, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), killed five Chinese engineers working on the Dasu hydroelectric project on the Indus, part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The resounding failure of the Muslim Brotherhood in the test of power

The resounding failure of the Muslim Brotherhood in the test of power

For decades, numerous books have denounced the dangerous nature of the Muslim Brotherhood. However, until 2011 and the Arab Spring, very little was known about their ability to manage countries. In Cairo, as in Tunis, when they came to power, it only took them a few months, if not a few weeks, to reveal their incredible incompetence. “To rise in the hierarchy of the Brotherhood, you have to obey and, above all, not think. As a result, it’s not the most intelligent who have come to power”, notes sociologist Sarah Ben Néfissa, co-author with Pierre Vermeren of the book “Les Frères musulmans à l’épreuve du pouvoir”1.

Iran: A people against theocracy

Iran: A people against theocracy

A vast country of 85 million souls lives under the boot of a bellicose dictatorship, plagued by corruption and contested by over 70% of the population. The young people of Persia, who are now demanding the separation of religion and state, must be given unstinting support in the face of a tyranny on the verge of going nuclear and dreaming of setting the world ablaze.

Attacks on secularism: French teachers, the last black hussars of the republic

Attacks on secularism: French teachers, the last black hussars of the republic

Rejection of secularism, denial of science and conspiracy… Teachers in the national education system find themselves confronted with a challenge not only to the republican model, but also to the Enlightenment, against a backdrop of a general decline in the level of students. Understaffed, teachers do not feel supported by their superiors, who seem to be out of touch with reality.

Lorenzo Vidino: Hidden investments bring tens of millions of euros to the Muslim Brotherhood

Author of two reference books (“Muslim Brotherhood, the inner circle” and “The neo-Muslim Brotherhood in the West”), Lorenzo Vidino is one of the most prominent specialists on the Islamist Brotherhood in Europe. In this interview, he explains how the Muslim Brotherhood’s hidden real estate investments bring in tens of millions of euros every year.

Mohamed Louizi : The Muslim Brotherhood hides a huge real estate empire in France and Europe

Mohamed Louizi : The Muslim Brotherhood hides a huge real estate empire in France and Europe

The author of “Why I left the Muslim Brotherhood” was the first in 2016 to publish an investigation into the real estate assets of Imam Hassan Iquioussen and his family. For him, the Iquioussen case is in fact the tree that hides the forest: for decades, the Muslim Brotherhood has been discreetly accumulating buildings, houses, commercial premises, flats and land. The objective is to build up a “real estate war chest” that would allow them to finance themselves, so as not to depend on money from the Gulf countries.

Youssef Al Qaradhawi: The tragic end of the so-called moderation of the Muslim Brotherhood

Sheikh Al-Qaradhawi has passed away at an advanced age. His death has become the subject of controversy between those who mourned his passing and consider his death a loss for Islamic thought and the moderate spirit of preaching, and those who hold him responsible for the bloodshed of Muslims, the justification of extremism, the allegiance to corrupt and unaccountable regimes, and the issuing of politically motivated fatwas linked to these regimes.

Algeria: Polygamy 2.0

Algeria: Polygamy 2.0

In the photo, the man is posing between his two wives whose faces are masked by a pink heart, as a matter of modesty. He married them on the same day and is called Rachid. He is a “Skikdi”, an inhabitant of Skikda, which has earned him the nickname “Skik-deux” on social networks, further proof that Algerians can lose everything except their sense of humour! The wedding announcement is adorned with the Koranic verse that justifies marital diversity: “It is permitted to marry two, three or four of the women you like, but if you fear that you will not be fair to them, then only one, or slaves that you own”.

Prevent Pakistan from fueling terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir

Prevent Pakistan from fueling terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir

Pakistan’s intelligence service, the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) has for years waged a proxy war in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) by aiding and abetting terrorism through terrorist outfits such as Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM). The service continues to support this proxy war, now being carried out not just through the above mentioned groups but also through their various offshoots like The Resistance Front (TRF), People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF), Jammu Kashmir Gaznavi Force (JKGF), United Liberation Front of Jammu & Kashmir (ULF-J&K) , Kashmir Tigers etc.
