To reduce the pressure between France and Algeria, President Macron is considering several measures to ease the situation.

To contain this diplomatic crisis, the Elysée will accelerate the establishment of the Memory and Truth Commission on the Algerian War. Paris also wants to send a very important ministerial and military delegation to Algiers, as soon as the Algerian authorities have given their approval.
